I was raised on a dairy farm in Southwestern PA and have been a resident of this area since 1971. Upon moving to the area I felt right at home in this picturesque, rural setting. I love the peaceful beauty of Alleghany Co., its' natural resources, its' wonderful people. I am a wife, mother, grandmother, business woman, artist, mentor, coach and lover of life. In 1975 I began painting and teaching art professionally under the name of Studio Redwood, Inc. I became a NC Real Estate Broker because I love helping people make their real estate dreams come true! I was raised on a farm in Eastern North Carolina.  I initially became a Real Estate salesman many years ago while in high school and worked at the trade until I received my draft notice from Uncle Sam with the opening word “Welcome”.  Opting not to be on the ground in Vietnam, I enlisted for flight school and flew all types of military aircraft for 25 years. That experience led me to become an Airplane Flight Simulator Instructor, then a Corporate Pilot and Senior Production Test Pilot for Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah, Georgia from which I retired. Fulfilling a life-long dream, I decided to relocate to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina and to re-establish my career as a Realtor.

After working 12 years at the local newspaper, I began my real estate career in 2000 by obtaining my Virginia sales license and my North Carolina broker's license.
